Consider total no. of rooms as 100
hence, we get total no. of rooms rented as 75
Rooms not rented will 25
consider basic room as B & delux rooom as D
Room that is rented and basic is 2/3B
B+D = 100
we have to calculate room that is basic and not rented
1) 60% of all the room is basic so total 60 rooms are basic and 2/3 (60) = 40 (Rented basic room) so not rented is 20 hence, Sufficient
2) 12.5% of delux room not rented.
so 0.125D is not rented and B-2/3B = Basic room not rented.
We know that B+D=100 and 0.125D + (B-2/3B) = 25 (Total no. of rooms not rented)
Substituting the value of D we can get the value of B.
Hence, Sufficient.
