I am down between A & B on basis of meaning, IMO B seems to be correct over A

MANHATTAN REVIEW OFFICIAL EXPLANATION:
As you can see a contrasts within the sentence, you want to find the phrase that best stresses that contrast. The contrast is absent in B. C, D and E completely change the meaning of the sentence. Choice A is the correct answer.
