I believe you need both. Technical Skills help you build the fundamentals of a craft, they are concrete and you can get them through education and work experience and soft skills help you collaborate, be more creative. They include teamwork, problem-solving, effective communication, leadership and time management.

Corporate Skills [#permalink]
Both Technical skill and soft skill are different according to their work performance. If any person do the job on any technology then technical skill is more important. Soft skill is also very important for field working person. Both are important to surviving in this corporate world. In most jobs, technical skills alone are not enough to be truly effective. The importance of soft skills is rising. Besides, it is harder to learn them, that's why they are even more valuable.
