Hi Thunderfan00,

I know we already spoke over the phone, so I can reiterate my thoughts here. First and foremost, you need to dive back into TTP and complete the course, in full, prior to your next GMAT. Looking over your analytics I see that you completed only 61% of the course and, most importantly, that many of the modules you started, you did not complete. So, while I do not doubt that you improved, I think that, by doing only 50% of some modules, you never really became “GMAT ready” in many topics. As we discussed, there were things that you saw on the GMAT with which you were “kind of” familiar yet not familiar enough to efficiently attack, and so, you have knowledge and skill gaps that ultimately negatively affected your GMAT score. Also, I think the fact that you did not take many practice GMATs negatively affected your performance. Taking practice tests is a good way not only to build up your confidence but also to get yourself mentally prepared to handle the rigors of test day. So, if you can complete TTP and get some practice tests under your belt, I think you can improve your GMAT score significantly. Of course, if you have any further questions let’s hop on another call. I’ve got your back, my friend.

Hi Thunderfan00,

High-level inferences from your ESR

1. Your performance is limited by your skillset in SC and Quant.
2. In verbal, there are some time management issues, but I believe they are an outcome of your lack of right level of ability in SC.
3. Likewise in Quant also your time management issues are an artifact of your lack of ability.

Given the above, what should be your plan of action to achieve your target score.

1. Plan of Action - SC
Simply doing concept review will not work.
Given that you have scored V38 in SC, you do not lack conceptual understanding in SC. There may be some gaps, but primarily you need to work on your process skills. And this corresponds to doing Revision A followed by Stage 2 in Sentence Correction.

1. I recommend you watch thisvideo from 32 seconds onwards in which we explain what is Revision A and how to do the same.
2. And then watch thisvideo in its entirety in which we explain how to do Stage 2 - Cementing methods and processes.
3. Note that doing "strategic review" of questions is very critical at this stage. Do watch this youtube session in which we went over how to do the strategic review that helps you create an error log that is actionable.

2. Plan of Action - Quant
You do need to build your conceptual understanding. Continue learning the concepts and when you feel you are ready, do Stage 2 for quant.

3. Plan of Action - Test Readiness
Once you finish Stage 2 for SC and Stage 1 and 2 for Quant, then work on test readiness. I can share more specific guidelines when you are ready for it.

I don't believe that you are very far from your target score. What you need right now is focused and guided effort to cross the remaining chasm. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Regards,
