Hi, sorry for my low QIQ but I am not able to understand the solution.
Need some help...

Hi Bombsante,

Solution may go like this-
Given: g(x)=x^2 - 7
=> g(m)= m^2 - 7
Given : g(m)=29,
=> g(m)= m^2 -7 =29,
=>m^2 =36
=>m = +6 /-6.

Also Given: h(x)=|3x|+2,
to find h(m) =>
h(m)=|3m| +2
=> h(+6)=|3*6| +2 ;h(-6)=|3*(-6)|+2
=|18|+2 : |-18|+2
equals 20 in both cases.

Hope this helps

If h(x)=|3x|+2 and g(x)=x^2−7 and g(m)=29, what is the value of h(m)?

First figure out what m is. Since g(m) = 29 ---> g(m) =m^2 - 7

m^2 - 7 = 29
m = 6

h(6) = 3x6 + 2 = 20

Answer is B.
