Which GMAT Practice Test should I go for? [#permalink]
Thank you both for your answers. Rich, below are the answers to your questions:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week? I started two months ago, studying 2 hours a day during the week and 5 hours a day during the weekend.
2) What study materials have you used so far? The 2021 OG books and the 6 OG exams.
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)? The past 8 sundays. I skipped a couple. I scored between 640 and 690 (46 to 48 in quant and 30 to 39 in verbal).

I took the real exam this week where I got 640 (48Q and 30V) and I'm taking another one in less than 3 weeks (the night before my applications deadline). You should know that I took one exam 4 years ago (still valid) and got 670 (49Q and 31 V).

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score? 690+
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to? I'm applying in March for MiMs in the leading french schools.

Hi kingofs,

From what you've described, your studies so far have been "book heavy"; unfortunately, many GMATers who study in that way end up getting 'stuck' at a particular score level. Even the best books are limited in what they can teach you; they also can't force you to approach questions in a certain way and their explanations are often one-sided.

Since you are fairly close to your Score Goal at this point, we have to be really specific about your 'data' (and not generalize).

1) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
2) For your next attempt, are you planning to take the At-home GMAT or are you planning to take your GMAT at a Test Facility?
3) What specific application deadlines are you facing?
4) Going forward, how many hours do you think you can consistently study each week?

Mostly go with GMAT official tests... if you have completed all of them .. then go for veritas prep

After taking all of the GMAT Prep tests, I am looking for a new series of tests to go for. Which one you advise me?

I heard that MGMAT and Veritas are the best available in the market right now. If that is the case, which one provides the closest verbal questions, quant questions and score to the official GMAT test? If not, which one would you suggest?

I know that this question has been asked in the past. I'm just wondering whether things have changed in 2021?

Thank you all.

I used Manhattan mocks and Veritas. The quant module of Manhattan mocks is on a tougher side. If you are confident that your morale doesn't go south after seeing a lower quant score, then you can go ahead with Manhattan. And coming to veritas, I didn't find any pattern with their mocks. So, not really sure if they are reliable or not. But I heard that Kaplan mocks are reliable. May be you can try them.

Thank you everyone for your feedback.

Rich, below are the answers to your questions:

1) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)? 650 (Q47,V34), 610 (Q44,V29), 660(Q44,V35), 640 (Q48,V30), 640 (Q48 ,V31 ), 690 (Q46,V39) over the past 8 sundays. This week I got 640 (Q48,V30) in the real exam.
2) For your next attempt, are you planning to take the At-home GMAT or are you planning to take your GMAT at a Test Facility? At a test facility on March the 2nd.
3) What specific application deadlines are you facing? March the 3rd, March 15th and one on rolling basis.
4) Going forward, how many hours do you think you can consistently study each week? 2 to 3 hours per day during the week. Probably 5 to 6 hours per day during weekends.

Hello Scott,

I have not repeated the free gmat tests as I took them about two months ago. I believe that I would still remember some of the answers.

The databases for those exams are quite large, so you would likely see many fresh questions.
