Try Cheaptickets.com and search for the cheapest tickets then go directly to the airline's website.

Also, you could try flying into Burbank, Orange County, or Long Beach.

Depends if someone could pick you up. But I would pay more money and fly into LAX.

oh yeah, also check out farecast.com
it tracks the cost of airfare on certain routes and tells you if youre getting a decent deal or not based on history

guys just make sure you leave lots of time for commuting to the schools. you may not think that there is traffic on weekends, but there is always traffic in LA. Both UCLA and USC are in areas with high density traffic.

From LAX to UCLA (westwood) should take about 25 min without traffic. I would leave 1hr for it just in case
From LAX to USC (Downtown) is about 35 min w/o traffic. leave 1 hr as well

I usually use Qixo.com to find the cheapest rates and then goto teh airlines' website to purchase the ticket.

I am a Star Airlines member, so usually end up buying the ticket from the any of the Star Airlines website.

You gotta leave before 1 hour. You have to drive through to the campus and then find parking.
