have you ever considered the fact that only high scorers log onto admissions411 and update their data?
There is no doubt that the average GMAT scores from Admissions411.com are skewed higher. I think that the data is only valid when compared with other data on the site, and has no value in relation to actual scores, rates of admissions, etc.
I think it's amazing how similar the the scoring ranges are for R1 and R2 applicants, and also how similar the scoring ranges for Chicago & Wharton are; but I don't believe that any conclusions can be drawn about the actual applicant pools. I do think it would be logical to compare R1 & R2 numbers. I believe that they will interview similar percentages in R1 & R2; and this should be especially true because the application profiles in each round are so similar.
