Tepper vs McCombs vs Scheller

Tepper is actually more of a consulting school than Tech. I know it is surprising but they place better into consulting than tech (58 vs. 46 out of 200). Of course the same ratio kind of holds true for Ross (more Consulting rather than Tech recruiting despite the stereotypes). However, being able to place 46 people into tech indicates decent on campus recruiting and tech interest among students, meaning trips, clubs, alums you can reach out to.

For Scheller, about 10-12 people have moved out to the West for Tech jobs out of 85 grads. That's a pretty small number.

What you are trading off with Scheller vs. Tepper is recruiting on campus, help from students and alums. If you don't need help with interviewing and you don't need umph, that's easy money you are making on the scholarship but if you need a lot of that help, this is not an expensive way to buy it and improve (if you take advantage of it). I would take a look at how likely you would be to plug in, get involved, and benefit from the stronger student community, engagement, and on campus recruiting. If you have brands on your resume, e.g. you worked for Amazon India or Amazon Europe, then it would be an easy transition and you can go to Scheller but if you worked for a small regional firm or perhaps a whole different industry that has no recognition, you want to have a strong MBA brand.
