hi people, i know U. Oregon is not a school you guys look at, but i was wondering if anyone know someone that went there or any news of the school would be appreciated
also, if you could compare with the Pepperdine U. in LA, which one is more well known amongst recruiters in california? and nationally? and are these 2 schools at the same level?
thanks for your help
I'm applying to both. Both have gmat averages of 620. Oregon says it has minimum standards on their websites but told me that you can still get in if you don't pass every standard. Neither school is ranked, but the rankings don't go pass 100 in the world. I would say the're both just outside tier 3 schools and in the 75-100 in the US. If you want a job in Cali, you should go to Pepperdine, even though they have to compete with the 2 awesome schools in UCLA and USC. Oregon's location is worse and doesn't have the career prospects because of its remote location. Oregon is also more quanititative based. Its all depends on what you're interested in.
