For the 1st question : It is asked to calculate the following : #Invasive Procedures / Total Procedures.
South Korea : 8.2 / 16 * 100 = 51.25%
Brazil : 9.2 / 13 * 100 = 70.6%
Venezuela : 5.5 / 7.8 * 100 = 70.5%
Brazil wins -> Answer B.
I must say though, depending on the figures you pick, sometimes Venezuela is above Brazil... Therefore, I have 2 questions
:
- Is my reasoning wrong? In that case Brazil might always be ahead of Venezuela OR
- Is my reasoning correct? In that case, we can assume that the question is border line considering the very very slight difference between Venezuela and Brazil.
For the 2nd question : I think this question is more straight forward. We can see on the graph that there is a positive correlation between the number of hair and face surgeries and the overall number of surgeries : as one increases the other one increases.
Therefore, the best answer seem to be -> Answer A.
