Good question to learn about the approximation in graphs.
As per the we have to find the in which year which division had the maximum share . Meaning percentage split between the divisions was maximum.

Apparel - "A"
Cosmetics - "C"

2014: A- 42; C - 22 ; diff=20$
2015: A- 43; C - 38 ; diff = 5$
2016: A- 38; C- 50; diff = 12$
2017: A- 62; C- 46; diff = 16$
2018: A-64; C-60; diff = 4$

Clear answer 2014 and apparel division.

­Based on the available information, it can be said that division [Apparel] in year [2014] had the maximum share of total profit in any given year.

1. Since the statement mentions the share of total profit ==> calculate the percentage of Apparel profit to the total profit

2. The year should be the year when the difference (in terms of %) between Apparel and Cosmetics profit is highest
(Imagine there are only 2 different numbers A and B, A>B: The larger the difference btw these 2, the larger A is)

Should be 2014 or 2017 (when the difference seem quite large)

The difference (in terms of $) is similar in both 2014 and 2017
But the total profit in 2014 < in 2017

==> the difference (in terms of %) in 2014 must be the largest
