Hey Kry it seems like asians are about as common as caucasians...they make up a much higher % of the bschool population than than they do the total population of america. By yes mid 20s people from financial fields and consulting is what I would say is the generic MBA profile...but every school has the former NBA player, olympic medalist, fighter pilot, israeli secret service guy...thats diversity.
It depends on the school and the area. When I was visiting Kellogg and sitting in class, I noticed a significantly lower number of Asians compared to West Coast Schools (for obvious reasons). I think I was one of 5 people in a regular class of 60 or so? Granted, still higher than the US Average of 5%, but much lower than I'm used to.
