I second that! After the wait list nightmare last year and three dings in R1 this year, I couldn't have been closer to despair. Yet, here I am, with an admit! Keep your head high!!!

Special congratulations to dosa too .. the poor guy has spent almost all of his non-essay-writing time analyzing and reanalyzing trends, yields, selectivities etc for all of us. Dosa, you need an avatar now. Prasad, hang in there man! All that's needed is "one admit" in one of the dream schools, right?

haha so true neo...I am an analyst and my job involves analyzing trends and stuff. Thats something I truly enjoy In fact time(analyzing) >> time (on essays). You would be amazed at some of the spreadsheets I have created analyzing selectivities
