5 digit integer: a b c d e
e can have only 2 to make the numbers even.
so we can fill only abcd by integers 3, 5, 7, and 9. so they can be filled in 4! (or 24) ways since no repetation is allowed.

if repetation is allowed: abcde = 5x5x5x5x5 = 5^5.

so the answer to this question is 24.

in the last spot,we must have 2 to make the number even. in the other four spots, we can put any of the 4 remaining #s, but since repitition is not allowed, we have 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 x 1 = 24
