Have any of you experienced post-test exhausition after the GMAT? I'd like to think of myself as a pretty tough guy, but I have a raging headache, my body is cold, and I just feel physically terrible (but emotionally elated).

I'm an engineer, so I think I had an advantage. I also took a number properties class my senior of college, which actually helped tremendously with the GMAT. Starting from scratch though, I would learn all the basics. Once I have the basics down, I'd start with the Official Guide- be sure to do every single problem. Then I would start doing the challenges. The challenges are TOUGH- much more so than the GMAT, so only do them when you are ready. Lastly, always always keep track of your mistakes with an error log. For example, whenever I did a challenge, I would review the questions I got wrong the right before I attempted another challenge. This had the dual effect of making me learn from my mistakes and warming up my brain. I also applied the principle on test day by doing about 30 problems (both math and verbal) from the GMAT paper tests to get warmed up.
