Wow - the 2008 applicants weren't kidding when they said the application interface sucks!

For some reason when I go to start an online app all I get is

written accross the top of the page. What gives? Am I missing something?

I was expecting "form type," not uploading a word document.

Guys, anyone figure out what the difference is between the "Employment History" section on the application and the resume upload in the next section? The application says you only need to upload a resume for scholarship consideration - so is it not supposed to be a professional resume, then?

I think they are different.

Does anyone know what does Salary PIN (in Work History section) mean?

Let me know what you find out. I still can't access the app.

Christina on the Businessweek forums said if you don't know what "Salary PIN" is, just leave it blank.

Do you know if the 400 charactor means 400 words? How do we count number of charactors?

400 characters, I believe, more or less means 400 keystrokes - for instance, "this sentence is 33 characters."

So, 400 characters is WAY less than 400 words.

Your word processing software's "Word Count" tool or equivalent will tell you how many characters you have in a paragraph.

That's 400 characters per EC right? Not 400 characters total for all ECs
