Friday Night Losers
[#permalink]
01 Aug 2008, 21:28
This post is for anyone who has ever passed up on a great Friday night outing to work on their business school essays. This is not a post for complainers. This is a post for people so inspired and motivated to get into their dream school, that this seems hardly a sacrifice. This post is for those who have passed up on a beautiful girl who calls, beckoning them to show up at a bar, but instead stays in to listen to the beattles, and research why Kellogg or some such other school would be their perfect choice.
This post is not for people who whine. This is for people who drink wine by themselves, alone, in dimly lit room, reviewing their 12 draft on a essay at midnight on Friday.
This is for the people made loners or hermits by their passions.
This post is for the person who found friendships and trust on GMATclub.
This post is for those that some may call Friday night losers. This is for those that have heard 'you are being antisocial' every night for the next 6 weeks.
This is for the guy who calculated those Kellogg admission stats in an excruciating analysis. This post is also for those who tried to comprehend it.
We exist in numbers, and our bonds are silent. We find faith in each other, hear on this thing they call the Gmatclub.
Thanks for the memories, the laughter and the support.
One more night in the books, and one more step closer to our dreams.
