as far as I know, Indian citizens fall often into the "international" category while US-born Indians fall into the "US" category.

I think they are different pools, but still both very competitive. I think Indian citizens have it much tougher than Indian US citizens such as myself.

One thing I still can't figure out is which bucket I would fit into - I'm an Indian citizen who also happens to be a US permanent resident and I grew up mostly in the US. I've always gotten supervague replies from the various schools when I've asked... :roll: I guess we'll find out!

Permanent citizens fall into the US applicant pool for most schools.
