I think is B. More...than, so remain only A and B. In A we have waters...exposes, but we need singular. So is B.

So many issues for A as many of you noted

Instead of is out right wrong D & E out

great depths is not parallel with shallow waters along the coast ( C out)

great depths parallel with shallow coastal waters, gets rid of "they" to refer to singular nouns. (B remains)

Please explain answers

Usage of Instead is incorrect so D and E is out
C is incorrect because of as opposed
between a and b, b is better because of use of where

The only potential problem I see with C is the use of "as opposed to". I don't see any problem with parallelism-
"likely to be found undisturbed at great depths...as opposed to shallow waters along the coast"...
"wheather archaeologist, treasure hunter, or sport diver".... in (B) leaves the sentence incomplete.
I will still go with C.
WHat is OA?
