Is it just me or it seems, my essays have helped me get a better perspective on life..i mean it really made me aware of who I am ..and what I want to do..

its a pretty good feeling..who said essays were a bad thing..

I for one am very glad I wrote all those essays. Made me really understand how I got to where I am and where I want to go next. Even if I didn't get into any b-schools last year, I would have made changes to my life to pursue the goals I stated in my essays. :)

I agree. More than anything else it has really forced me to be more reflective and think through my ST and LT goals, as well as the steps to take to get there. That's been really valuable.

I definitely felt that after my first two sets of essays....

that being said, I've done 7 or so apps since then and am really really sick of writing essays :)

I agree. I haven't enjoyed the last few essays but this whole process has really forced me to consider what it is that I'm looking for. One things for sure.....anyone who applied to more than two or three schools should have no problem answering a lot of the bschool interview questions. My essays have become my notecards.
