Re: which company recruits at which school? [#permalink]
Most recruiting reports are very misleading. Lots of companies are listed as recruiting but never step foot on campus. Many use not just companies that come to school but also post a job or even hire students, even if those students got the job with no help from the school. Few schools post which companies come to campus, I know Kellogg does and I believe I remember a few other schools having it marked as who is on campus and who is off.

Some companies will post which schools they recruit at...for example:
https://www.pgecorp.com/aboutus/careers/ ... p_program/
https://www.danaher.com/careers/mba_grads.asp

However, you can get hired by many companies from other schools...on campus just makes it easier to get your foot in the door during the recruiting process.

Re: which company recruits at which school? [#permalink]
Posting a job or recruiting a student does not represent very much, and is quite deceiving by HBS (as riverripper observes).

PE & HF do not turn up on any campus - there are too few people in the shop to spend time on that. As most jobs are obtained through networking, it is a much trickier game to get through without being introduced to people. As MSDay and Ripper noted, there will be little variation between what the top schools post.

HBS will have quite a number more opportunities, as they have alum that clearly only recruit at HBS. 2008-2009 numbers will be very interesting when they come up, but I guarantee that the 2007-2008 will cling on for some time on their site and never be available for direct comparison.
