In my opinion,
OG has been a little easier; however, you have got to taken into account the fact that while you're doing
OG, chances are you're not timing yourself, allowing yourself the maximum amount of time to do a problem. Even then, once you finish a question, you have the ability to flip to the explanation page and see if you thoughts and answers were correct. I think that if you can answer most of the last few questions, at least for quant, in
OG, you're pretty solid in math and should be able to score Q40 or above on GMATPrep. I personally don't think the verbal is the exact comparison to the GMATPrep. I think what it all boils down to is that GMATPrep, you're forced to do a certain problem in a certain amount of time because you're timed. Pressure adds to that very insecurity that you're not able to check your answer right then and there. If this were truly the case, I'd suggest doing your
OG or any practice problems in a timed fashion. This will model the pressure (definitely not the same type of pressure as taking GMATPrep, but similar) that you'll be facing when you're taking a whole exam, be it GMATPrep or the actual GMAT.
