Yes, see this post for some details: gmat-study-plan-go-from-650-to-80235.html

I would suggest you study before work (can be tough I know) but studying after a long day at work is not that effective. The only thing you can do is read fiction but not study, esp since you are not 12 or 14 when stuff just sticks to your brain.

You can also see a general study plan here: gmat-study-plan-for-gmat-novices-start-your-gmat-journey-80727.html

Thanks bb,

To be honest i was waiting for your reply, else i would have started nagging you :P
Thanks for the link, read it and it is really helpful.

This is synopsis of what i am going to do from what i can best plan after reading the link you send me, please feel free to advice if my plan can be improved.

1. Finish my OG completely (Except for SC) and give another GMATprep exam.
2. Verbal
------
Pick up the specific topics from spcecific books (SC- Manhattan, CR-Manhattan,
RC- Manhattan).
3. Quant
------
-- Pick up my weak topics in Quant and practice them from the questions
posted in the PS section of GMATCLUB (700-800 level questions).
-- Work out the Kaplan Advance book.
-- Work the questions of GMAT Club test.
4. Going to use the Error_log by Saruba, it is just Awsome !!

bb, few doubts though
1. Where to get more Verbal questions to practice (With Explaination)
2. How ferquently should i take my Mock exams to check my progress ???
And besides GMAT Prep and Manhattan what are the exams to give closest score?
3. What do you think of 1000 series question set, is it worth to spend time on them
and then hunting for answers and explainations ??? I found the PS DS quite easy
and verbal quite usefull.

Sorry for finally nagging so much but i need this guidance before i start running all over the materials and questions like a rabbit.
Hope this post will help other too, guess there are more like me who are oscillating at 600+ and want to move to 700+

Many thanks

1. I would focus on basics/background/grammar/logic rather than questions.
2. You should only take practice CAT's when you are comfortable to start taking them (meaning you already covered verbal and quant). otherwise you are wasting them
3. it is fine but again, focus on theory/strategies/basics, not question practice.

I'm completely out of touch with the GMAT these days, but I will say that a 100 point increase in 2 months is definitely not impossible. It will difficult, and for some people unlikely, but it's not impossible.

Good luck! Don't hesitate to ask for help in the relevant forums as you need it.

Just wanted to say that it definitely isn't impossible :) I took the first official practice test 3 weeks ago and got a 650, and just took my first GMAT today and got a 750-just tell all of your friends that you are not allowed to have a life and live, eat, and breath GMAT !
