lol this post is so depressing! It started well... but not for long! So just in order to give you some hope, I'll give you some advice (from the other side).
My girlfriend started law school the last year and it started the way you described it; huge load of work, hours spent at the library, parties...etc... The trick for me has been to be proactive, I started to go to these parties, i met the "law school guys" and made them understand who i was, and became friend with some of them. The result: less tension in our couple, simply because I knew the people she spent her time with, and more important, they knew me: psychologically really important as it is more difficult to shag the GF of a guy you know (more difficult, not impossible! lol some guys/girls have no respect). Even my GF noticed that the guys were less after her...
Of course, if you GF is a slut, you're ****, nothing new... But even a good girl / guy can make a mistake when spending so much time with people from opposite sex.
Regarding the long distance relationship, i didn't wait for law / B-school to know that it's a gamble. Sorry guys...
