Yeah, congrats! Please provide some more details about the process.

I was R1 and I interviewed roughly 2.5 weeks ago. I received an email inviting me to interview approximately 3 weeks ago.

The interview itself was with an AdCom member and really focused in on my goals, my experience, and specific details of my application. The interviewer was very well acquainted with my application and was clearly prepared for the interview.

Congratulations, Pook! I'm glad I've met a handful of newly accepted GC folks already. I hope you'll matriculate. Feel free to reach out again if you have any questions.

Sorry to hear your results. Can you give us some stats about your application and what you've submitted during the waitlist? I hope it works out for you in other schools or next year...

cwhs,
It is a little painful to be a walking cautionary tale for the fact that a great GMAT doesn't guarantee an admit anywhere. I believed my essays were good, at the time. I was especially proud of my Essay 3. But right now, I'm not sure any more. And I'm still trying to re-evaluate for next application season.
