Possible careers after MBA?

I have been working in technology (technical side) for the last 6+ years. I want to go for an MBA in order to change career.
Now mind you, I don't mind staying *in* technology as long as it is in something like Business Analysis or Management.
But I wanted to ask you folks what are my options after MBA, say from a top 20 school.
I am a family man, so I don't want to do consulting it requires too much travel.
I am looking at finance, supply chain, operations, management. There might be others I don't know about.
What would be the best career for someone coming from technology which requires little to no travel and comparatively has little stress.
I've been told finance jobs could get very stressful.

I think I have heard that corporate finance can be lower stress, little travel, decent hours.

Tech companies offer a variety of post MBA roles...marketing, operations, finance, strategy. Figure out the type of work you want to do and there are going to be opportunities there. That said even going corporate doesnt mean you wont be traveling at all.
