Hi,
Thanks for your questions. The answers to the questions above were all correct, so I won't answer them again. Aside from one being in a virtual classroom and one being in a physical classroom, there are three main differences between online and in-person courses:
1. The online courses are capped at 25 people, and because of the way the classroom works, there are two instructors in the room. One is talking on the mic and the other is talking in the chat box, answering questions. To see a preview of how the Elluminate classroom works, click here:
https://www.manhattangmat.com/online-question.cfm In the in-person classroom, classes are capped at around 16-18 people (depending on where you're located and the size of the classroom) and there's only one instructor.
2. To make up online classes, you have the option of viewing the recording of the class you missed. (You also have stock recordings of all nine sessions available to you in your student center.) To make up an in-person class, you can either watch the recordings in your student center or schedule to sit in with another live class (you can sit in up to three times.)
3. The online courses are a bit cheaper.
Ultimately, it comes down to which platform suits your study habits better. Do you work better when you can see your classmates and when you are in a classroom so you can focus, or do you work better in the comfort of your own home, where you don't have to worry about the commute and where you can be wearing pj's?
Feel free to PM me if you have more questions!
Best,
Caitlin Clay
