hi, i am currently doing my gmat but still not decided which path to take, masters or mba?
here's my profile:
female, 29 yrs old,
B.S in Accountancy
certified public accountant in the philippines
7 years experience in the field of finance - from inventory, cost, general, intercompany, financial reporting, consolidation, financial analysis, SOX..
4 years experience in the Philippines from a multinational company based in Singapore and 3 years experience in Dubai from 2 biggest multinational company..
i haven't really checked my GPA but i think I'm just an average accounting student..
career path: wants to go into financial controlling/analysis
considered the following master's degree:
MSc in Business Analytics & Consulting at warwick
MSc in Finance and Management at cranfield
Specialized Master in Management Control and Business Performance at ESCP Paris
Masters in Finance & Risk Management - London School of Business
i am not a real fan of investment banking, hedging, etc.. i am more interested in business/management controls, strategy, analytics and working in a corporate industry.
i also don't wanna do any master's in accounting as i have been exposed to accounting all of my career and it seems that like doing the financial controlling part.
any suggestions/comments?
