I don't understand... why couldn't it be A?
1) Sufficient?
2^2 = 4.
-2^-2 = 1/2*1/2 = 1/4.
2) Insufficient. It could be 2 or -2.
Please elaborate. Thanks!

I thin it's \(|n|^{|n|}=4\)
Find an integer N.
(1) \(|n|^{|n|}=4\) --> \(n=2\) or \(n=-2\). Not sufficient.
(2) \(n^4=16\) --> \(n=2\) or \(n=-2\). Not sufficient.
(1)+(2) Still the same two values of \(n\) are possible. Not sufficient.
Answer: E.
