2011 MIT Sloan Leaders for Global Operations (LGO) thread

Here I go again, checking this thread at 10:46 and after I checked it at 10:32am my time. I think that LGOs only interview on campus, I went to ambassador's day this October and everyone I spoke to about interviews said that they were on campus. Even a girl from Tel Aviv said that she had to fly to Boston to interview, she was not given the opportunity of meeting with someone in the nearby area. So if you get the interview invite make sure you go to Priceline right after you are done to look for the cheapest flight.

Interviewfest is a big event where they bring about 100 people to interview for the LGO and you must do this on campus. They prepare some activities, etc

A lot of people believe that today the invites will be sent out because last year and the year before it, LGO interview invites FOR INTERVIEWFEST were sent on the first wednesday of the year (a lot of people were invited after interviewfest but the majority of admitees were invited to it). We dont know wether this will hold true or not but its a guideline. There is another thread that sort of discusses the same thing with applicants who were matriculated on June 2010 and who at that time were going through this nerve-wreaking process.

In a different note, put a smiley face if you will spend most of your workday checking your email and visiting this thread to see if there are any news. hahaha this is so dumb
