Congrats to all as the invites and good news start to trickle out :)

Received Ross interview invite today at 1:43 PM.

R1 Applicant. Still waiting to hear from SOM, Haas, Anderson, Tuck.

Congratulations on the Interview Invitation ! Were you WL'ed from R1 ? If so, did Ross give you a deadline for sending updates ? Thanks in advance !

Thank you. Outside of the "thanks for applying" and other outreach e-mail from Ross (that everyone received, I believe), this is the first I'd heard from them. As for deadline updates, I did not ask nor see anything in the e-mail.

I've been impressed with Ross' responsiveness; if I were you, I would reach out to either one of the Consortium reps or the admissions team.

Thought I'd join in on the conversation. I applied consortium R1 but since I retook my GMAT in Dec, some of the schools put me in R2.

Here's the list:

UCLA - interviewed
USC - Ding
Haas - Waiting (R2)
UT - Waiting
Tepper - Waiting (R2)
Univ Wisconsin - In with full scholarship and living stipend

I interviewed at UCLA a few days ago and will be visiting Wisconsin in March. The school is paying for the trip so I thought it would be good to see it and meet current students.

I didn't apply to Wisconsin, due to my post-MBA career interests, but their applied security analysis and brand management programs are very highly regarded. Best of luck on your other apps.

Dinged by Tuck. That's 2 "no thanks" (Stern, Tuck), 1 interview (Ross), and 3 yet-to-contact (SOM, Anderson, Haas).

I got interview invites to mit, wharton, stern and ross. wharton waitlisted me. I suspect it might have to do with my gpa, but then why bothering to interview me? After each interview I walked away feeling great, and thought I really connected with the interviews and had great stories to tell. My stern interview in 2 weeks will be my 7th interview.

This process is brutal.

Super broke! At least they are kind enough to provide alternatives to stripping your way through grad school. (I have thought about it...) :?

I agree. Probably not your GPA for the same reason you suggested.

Dilemma: I currently have admits from my 2nd and 3rd ranked schools, and iv from my 1st. Both my 2nd and 3rd have indicated that they will offer the fellowship if it gets down to them. I will certainly accept and attend my 1st if accepted. However, I prefer my 3rd to the 2nd. Do you guys think it is a smart idea for me to turn down the admit from the 2nd so as to secure the fellowship from the 3rd should I get dinged by my 1st? Your 2 cent will be appreciated!

1. Depends on the schools.

2. Nothing is guaranteed even if they told you so

3. Doesn't matter now because the schools already have the rankings in hand so seeing themselves 3rd may change things. If it doesn't matter see point #1.

4. See #1 again.

5. If you miss #4 read on:

6. If you like #3 better would you attend over #2 without a fellowship?
