Cool.. I'll be sure to check out "Go Point" too.. hmm I don't think you require to know how to read/write to apply to Lauder? The only minimum requirement is a certain score on the OPI and that is a verbal test conducted over the phone. Frankly, even my hindi is not very good - I can barely hold a conversation without mixing some English in to my sentences but somehow I got an Advanced score on the OPI! If you're really keen you might try getting in touch with Marcy Bevan to see if they would still consider an application - since its in its first year I'm guessing they'd be fairly flexible.
Hmmm, that's interesting. I'm in the same boat - need to mix in English into the conversation. I might give Marcy a call just to get more info. I'm interested in starting up a business in India so Lauder would definitely go a long way in that regard. I've always wanted to sharpen up my Hindi and Lauder would be a good way to accomplish that too.
And I guess while I'm on this thread, if anyone wants to know more about living in Philly, feel free to fire away. I moved for work to Philadelphia 1.5 years ago and live in the city (Old City to be specific).
