i don't know what i'm supposed to put in the first post other than :woohoo

any ideas for hotels for Wharton Welcome? to any current students, what resources allow you to find roommates? i guess the admitted weekend?

hi and congrats to everyone admitted.

I also have several questions.
1. the admit letter says "To expedite your matriculation, you can click here" - do we have to do that? is there a deadline?
2. Does Wharton send any admit pack via mail?
3. At what point should I inform them that I plan to move with my spouse? I'm an international student and will need a visa for her.
4. Will I be able to increase my budget (as I will be with my spouse) to get more in loans?

Welcome and Huge Congrats..you all should be very proud of yourselves..

As for the welcome weekend, the hotel the school suggests is palomar hotel, but i bet by know its booked. you can check nearby hotel, I would suggest to find something in center city.

I just got a letter in the mail dated March 26, 2010. It is a exact copy of the Admission letter posted online. This one is printed and signed by JJ Cutler. Also got a Wharton embossed business card holder. Strangely, the letter was postmarked April 10, 2010.

Anyone else get this in the mail?

I got this too--came with a nifty little Wharton-embossed business card holder as well.

I bet it just took a long time for the mail to get out the door & processed.

Welcome and congratulations everyone!

Did anyone attend the WWW? I have heard from alumni that it is a great event, but I was unable to attend. I visited and was interviewed on campus first week of March and was impressed by Penn and believe that Philly is underrated.
