Hi again, I'm getting confused

In how many ways can a committee of 5 students be selected from a class of 16 students?

Is this a combination?

Thank youu

Oh another is.

Two students are to be selected as class representatives. The probability that Joy will be selected is 0.43. The probability that Mae will be selected is 0.38. The probability that both of them will be selected is 0.29. What is the probability that either of them will be selected?
