Hey there,
Well things look pretty good so far.
You are in a good industry, graduated from a good school, and have good grades.

Not too bad.

Your GMAT is kinda so-so. I mean, it's not bad, but it's not that great either.

But the biggest weakness of your profile is that at 19 months of work experience, you aren't really experienced enough to apply to an MBA. I mean you CAN apply, and you CAN try, but this will significantly weaken your profile, and I'd advise against it.

Especially, since if you wait one year, you will have the opportunity to:
- improve your GMAT
- improve your profile
- gain more relevant experience

all of which can help you significantly in your application.

What do you think?
Best,
JF

Thanks a lot JF. I understand what you are saying. But please advise me some schools so that I can apply with this profile this year. If I retake GMAT within a month and can reach 700, will it help significantly?

And I understand I am rushing with little work experience, but that's what I need to do for some reason. Do you suggest me to apply for MSFs instead at this stage? Please let me know which schools you think I have a chance to get into. Thanks.

Well it's not just a question of "what schools I can apply to". With sooooooo little experience, you are running the risk of the schools looking at your profile and saying "okay, this guy seems all right, but let's wait and see what he really can do." They don't usually take candidates with so little experience, and for good reason. So unless there's an extremely important personal or professional justification for going so early (and just as importantly, a justification that the AdComs can appreciate!), I'd really really urge you to wait ont his a bit.

If not, and assuming a 700, I'd say go for schools about 30 and below?? (But I'd need a bit more detail on your work experience here too)

Best,
JF
