Maybe I'm lazy but Chicago's essays seemed annoying. Glanced over them during my "anxious" period before I heard back from CBS and said to myself... eh, F it to that school, ha!

Kellogg by a long shot. Especially essay #3:

'Assume you are evaluating your application from the perspective of a student member of the Kellogg Admissions Committee. Why would you and your peers select you for admission, and what impact would you make as a member of the Kellogg community?'

I spent SO many hours rewriting this one before I got it where I wanted.

MDF, really? I wrote that essay also (I wrote Tuck/Cornell/Kellogg/2 for MIT/2 for HBS before CBS) and didn't mind it... shows how different all our perspectives are :)

lol, it was the opposite for me, I thought Booth's essays were easy :)

Yes. But at least after five 250-word essays they let you write a full blown 1000-word essay.
I found Wharton main essay too limiting, just 300 words...

Hey,

Do you think this essay is similar to Tuck essay 4? What's your opinion on introducing new material for this essay? If we were to use material already in the application what is the use of this essay?
