Hello,
I want to get an insight on my profile for MBA admit. Please help.
I have completed my bachelor's in electronics and tele-communication in 2012 (without backlogs) and secured 69% (with 84% in last 2 years)
I have 7+ years of work experience without any gap. (Breakup: 3 years working as a business analyst for an IT firm, and next 4+ years as a marketing analyst for a consulting firm, I have been promoted 3 times within 4 years and have once been awarded employee of the year).
I have volunteered as a teacher for backward un-privilaged children and have been a part of the group to support flood-hit areas in India, but I don't have any certificate for my volunteer works.
I have scored 690 on GMAT Q50 V35.
I'm looking to pursue full time MBA(Business Analytics Specialization)/ Masters in Business and Data Analytics from Canadian Universities and my preferred universities are:-
1. Rotman (MBA- Business Analytics)
2. University of Alberta (MBA- Business Analytics)
3. McGrill (MBA- Business Analytics)
4. HEC Montreal (Masters in Business Analytics and Data Science)
Can you guide me and rate my chances of getting into the above mentioned universities?

Hi there,
Thanks for the post and congrats on all you've achieved to date! That many promotions in quick succession (assuming it is not par for the course at your companies) is impressive, as is the employee award you won. That all should help--especially if you can get your letters of recommendation to back up what a stellar employee you are. Without having more information on your short- and long-term goals it's somewhat difficult to say how compelling overall your story is, but as you'll be on the older side for an applicant it will be important to explain why an MBA and why now.
For better or for worse, one of the best predictors of success in the admissions process is how your score stacks up against the average for the school. (And coming from an over-represented background ideally you should surpass that average.) I think all of the schools on your list are reasonable reach/target schools, although Rotman will be a bit tricky as it's one of the most competitive programs and your GMAT is fairly close to their average.
