Hi
Raven78, I'm afraid I can't quite see how to help with the lack of work experience problem. I would say emphasize your impact and leadership and point out what you can add to the class. Your experience sounds very cool, lean on that. However, you also have what looks to me like a lower than ideal GPA. Schools can certainly overlook flaws, but multiple flaws could be tough to overcome at top schools. My advice would be to wait and apply after a bit more experience, growing your community leadership as well, and then I like your candidacy for a more selective range of schools. Otherwise, you can go for it now, but go to the deeper end of the top 30. Picking which school is tough. Where do you want to be, what style of teaching do you like, how big a school do you want, what industry do you want to be in after graduation (I know your functions are bd/marketing but where)? All that is important for developing fit...you can use our insiders guides plus explore directly with the schools to find out what's of interest! Oh - and one more idea - have you thought about MIM programs? These tend to be more popular in Europe but Duke has one. Food for thought!
Good luck!
Warmly,
Julie-Anne
