Does anyone have any GMAT preparation resources for reference? Much appreciated, thanks.

No, it can be a positive or negative fraction

In case of a positive fraction, it must always be less than 0, else how the modulus condition will be satisfied?

A cube is painted red on two opposite faces and green on the remaining four faces. It has now been cut into 125 identical small cubes.

How many small cubes have none of their face painted ?

Anyone

27?

No sorry 75

lol sorry 27 was correct

125 pieces means 5x5x5 which is 5 on each edge, so eliminating one cube on each end gives a 3x3x3 cube inside the 5x5x5 cube which will have no face painted

= 27

I am not sure what you mean

If you take x=-1/2
(-1/2)^2=1/4
|-1/2|=1/2

Both conditions are satisified.

You can do the same with x=1/2

Is there a source where we can find TOPIC wise GMAT OG questions for Quant? A lot of sites are providing questions which are sometimes easier and sometimes very hard and I’m not sure if the GMAT Questions will be of that level. I have 21 og any help or comments on this.

For a motorist there are three ways going from City A to City C. By way of bridge the distance is 20 miles and toll is 50.75. A tunnel between the two cities is a distance of 10 miles and toll is $1.00 for the vehicle and driver and $0.10 for each passenger. A two-lane highway without toll goes cast for 30 miles to city B and then 20 miles in a northwest direction to City C

The most economical way of going from City A to City B, in terms

of toll and distance is to use the?

(a) tunnel

(b) bridge

(c) bridge or tunnel (d) toll free highway

(e) bridge and highway

Isn’t there only 1 way mentioned from city A to city B?

I think they meant the economical distance from City A to City C

d) toll free highway

Because A to C bridge + 20miles highway to B is 40 miles total plus toll,
A to C tunnel + 20miles highway to B is 30 miles total + toll
A to B directly by highway is 30 miles + no toll

No question is correct, We can’t find the answer if it would have asked A to C

TTP is good for quant, E-GMAT for SC, and you can use either for RC and CR
