Any advice for the second attempt?

See if you can work on the Verbal. I had a verbal student who ended up with a 760 with a Q48 but it was because their score combined with a V44. Even if you boosted your Q48 to a powerful Q50, for example, it may get you a 720/730 if the Verbal remains at V38.

In quant, the questions in the beginning were too easy and I think I got too comfortable and spent time rechecking my answers before submitting. Did not have enough time left for the last few questions and had to guess a lot. Geometry questions were hard!

As for verbal, based on my ESR, I did not make too many mistakes overall. Unfortunately in the first quadrant I made about 2 errors because of which I did not get any hard questions. My third quadrant score was 100% and yet I did not get hard questions in the end! It’s very frustrating because I have compared my Esr with others and they have gotten a higher score even when they made more errors

I will be taking the GMAT again but I am very nervous as I keep benchmarking my performance to 700 even though I know I can score more.

Any advice for the second attempt? I need tips for better time management in quant

Hi Hiral777,

That's a great score, and both your quant and verbal scores are strong as well. This does mean that you most likely don't have any major weaknesses, though I do think you could try to avoid rechecking your answers, as that can affect your time management on the day of the exam.
