I am from Energy sector with Ph.D. training in engineering, 8 years of WE and 5 years of management experience. I am looking to advance my career one day as C-suite executive of one of the major companies in the field (in US or worldwide, dont have limitation).
Appreciate if experts here can offer inputs based on my background. What would be the best 3 or 5 school/program options in order to help me advance my career, based on my background?
Wharton EMBA
Booth EMBA
MIT Sloan EMBA
Columbia EMBA Americas
Yale SOM EMBA
Kellogg EMBA
MIT Sloan Fellow Program
Standford Sloan Fellow Program
Note: understand both programs require 1 year full-time study.
Thank you for your post. I will give some general feedback here but I would really want to see more in order to customize this. Please either let us know more here or email me

I would look at Wharton, Booth, Columbia, Yale, and Kellogg. Of course chances of getting in depends on the above. MIT EMBA, MIT Sloan Fellows and Stanford MSx target applicants who have a bit more experience so you are a little junior for that right now with 8 years. Our clients tend to have more than 10 years for those programs and on average often 15.
Best,
