So I've been studying, and I'm still struggling with Data Sufficiency questions, to the point which I will get almost all of them wrong. I've done some research, and all the schools I'm looking at accept the GRE, and the GRE does not have these silly DS questions on them, which will inevitably hold me back. Has anyone taken both? Opinions?

Yes, a number of people have taken both and have been able to apply and get admitted with both/one/either. Theoretically the two are supposed to be the same in terms of validity/weight/etc. Practically, it is not possible to determine.

I can understand your hatred towards the DS and I could see telling it to screw it but realistically you are probably better off overcoming this hardship than studying for a whole new test. Just saying...

What's your main issue with the DS? Timing? Not understanding the question prompt?

Also, what are you using for study materials?

I'm using the Magoosh 3-month study plan.

I've gone through the Manhattan GMAT guides and I've started doing OG problems. In the CR, PS and SC problems, I'm doing pretty well, but the last batch of DS I got 0/6.

Well, I took a mock gre and scored top 30% as opposed to bottom 30% in the gmat. The prep I did for the gmat prepared me for the gre since its harder. Canelled my 2nd gmat test and moved on. I should be able to get into a good grad program now :)
