Hello,
Thanks for your post and sharing your background information. It sounds as though you've accomplished a lot, and would have a lot to share with prospective classmates about the experience and exposure you've had to various business situations and decisions.
An executive MBA or specifically a program such as MIT's Sloan Fellows or Stanford's MSx options do sound like a good fit for you. Re: the GMAT, MIT sometimes waives the requirement for the Sloan Fellows admission, based upon your transcript; check out the instructions at
https://mitsloan.mit.edu/fellows/admissi ... -criteria/.
I do feel that if your grades are solid and you put together strong applications, really showcasing who you are and what you'll bring to the class, you should hopefully have a shot at MIT Sloan Fellows. With a strong GMAT, perhaps at Stanford's MSx program as well. In terms of the overall process and decision being worth it, you'll want to focus on what your post-degree career path might look like... continue doing research and speak with people who've completed the program for feedback. Certainly it's an amazing program with a great reputation, but you want to ensure you find the right fit for you.
