Hi everyone,

have been preparing for my GMAT exam which is next month and these days I have been giving practice Kaplan CATs .

in the most recent test, i got 730 (Q55V36). Is a Q 55 score even possible? I got 3 questions wrong in quant.

On another note, I have been getting 48,49 in the GMATprep tests Quant. Its the verbal that I'm focusing.

Yes, its totally possible. Kaplan tests are easier in Quant, and more challenging in Verbal.

P.S: Great score, those Kaplan tests are harder than GMATprep! Good luck :)

Thanks. That's encouraging. :) My quant in Kaplan CAT two days back was 46, so was wondering about the accuracy of the quant score. So much variation is quite surprising.

anyway, the verbal is indeed a bit higher level than GMATprep. that's why I'm doing them. hope to ace the exam this time.

Hi moonisahmed,

A 55 quant is definitely not possible--that's an error! Are you using the most up-to-date Kaplan resources, or did you get an older book from a friend? Our older books had this error, but it was supposed to have been fixed with the newest edition. If it is still cropping up, we'll want to take a look right away. Could you PM me the email that you used to register for the exams?
