Sum of the two numbers =\(\pi\)
Other number = \(\pi -x\)

Let the other number be \(y\).

\(\frac{x+y}{2}=\frac{π}{2}\)

\(y = π-x\)

SOLUTION:

Average = Sum of Observations/Number of Observations
Let the numbers be x and y
Given

(x+ y)/2 = π/2
=> (π - x) (OPTION C)
