g(x) is equal to a number tripled
=> g(x) = 3*x
=> g(2) = 3*2 = 6

f(x) is equal to the square of a number lessened by 5
=> f(x) = \(x^2 - 5\)
=> f(g(2)) = f(6) = \(6^2 - 5\) = 36 - 5 = 31

So, Answer will be E
Hope it helps!
