Thoughts on this essay question

- "How do you define successful leadership?"

Is this a standard leadership question where I should tell a story about a time I displayed leadership and then tie it together with a conclusion on how I define leadership? Or am I expected to write 500 words strictly on the definition of leadership?

I assumed it was a case of the former, but the more I think about it, they don't even mention showing examples of personal leadership.

Please, convince the admission commettee that you are not just another investment banker or VB programmer, but a well rounded person who will bring some additional value to the class and can talk with his classmates on issues other then his work duties.
