Hi,
I received an offer for MSc in International Management by Trinity business school and an offer by Cranfield som for their master in Finance and Management.
My goal is to work in the corporate finance/ private equity sector and I have seen that Cranfield already placed some students in this field just after the MSc. But trinity has a better name at international level and is previewed a new campus for the next year that will expand even more their prestige. Even if International Management is not exactly correlated with finance, If I choose that I will also study for the cfa1. Finally, Trinity is something like 8k euros cheaper.
Which one could be better to start my career?
Italian studying economics and business administration , 23, currently at the last year of bc from a little but private university, gpa of 27,6/30 in Italian grades(how is convertible? 3,5/4?)
7 years of work in responsabile position in the little family business
4 years in an Airsoft Association with responsible position, several tournaments won
Collaborating with an NGO as promoter for project of international learning.
CWMUN 2016, in nyc and in Abu Dhabi
Probably I’ll take part to the 2018 CWMUN in nyc as staff
Course of week for international careers by the association Diplomatici (the ngo with which I collaborate)
Finalist in a national writing course
Gmat not taken but not high(I have to work on verbal part)
Should I try to apply to a more prestigious school or maybe stop for a year, find a job in London as financial analyst, save money and then apply for a more prestigious school like, maybe, imperial college?
