Pelihu's debrief is very inspirational, in many ways. He also had a background in law, I think. So a part of that phenomenal score might be attributed to his awesome way with words :)

im not 100% sure of how the GMAT is graded (then again, who is?), but i dont think you necessarily have to get all questions correct to get a V51. remember there are random questions interspersed which are experimental/ungraded

This is depressing.

The max I ever got in verbal was 31 when I took the gmat prep before I started preparation. Since then Im just going downhill.

In other words, I think it is still OK to answer 40 out of 41

ShadowsJC is correct - there are indeed experimental questions and I do think you can miss a question or two and still get to the top...

its really a matter luck if you lose questions only from the experimental pool. People feel they have underperformed but in reality they score better than expected.

Very impressive, especially since you had 20 minutes to spare in verbal.

Hi suyashjhawar,

Congrats on really conquering the GMAT and providing a detailed debrief. I am sure your LSAT and Law background helped a great deal in the score. But it does show that commitment & desire can lead one to the right scores. Mine is a 760 and I visualize that result everyday.

have fun.

When I took my GMAT Prep, I finished Quant with 27 minutes to spare and Verbal with 23. But with verbal my work shift had ended and I had to log out because the next guy had come. I ended up with 49Q 38V. Not so bad :D
